About The Position

Santa Cruz Post Acute is a compassionate, resident‑centered skilled nursing facility dedicated to delivering high‑quality clinical care. Our CNAs play a crucial role in supporting residents’ daily needs and contributing to a warm, safe, and respectful environment. We are seeking caring, dependable Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team. The CNA provides direct resident care, assists with daily living tasks, and supports licensed nurses to ensure that each resident receives thoughtful, dignified care. Requirements

  • Active California CNA certification required
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Compassionate and resident-focused mindset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced care environment
  • Must pass background check and meet facility health requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide compassionate, person‑centered support while upholding resident dignity.
  • Record vital signs and assist with clinical observations as directed.
  • Support residents with meals, hydration, and comfort needs.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized rooms and care areas.
  • Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff promptly.
  • Follow all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team.
