CNA - PT - 1st shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is seeking CNAs to join their team. This specific position is part-time, requiring 8 hours per week, on the 1st shift (6:00a - 2:30p) within their Skilled Unit, with a requirement to work every other weekend. A shift differential is offered. The CNA will be responsible for delivering compassionate, direct resident care, performing all care-related procedures as outlined in the resident care plan, physician orders, or as directed by the charge nurse. This includes tasks such as taking vital signs, weighing residents, assisting in obtaining specimens, and helping with bathing and dressing. Moosehaven is a 67-acre resort-style retirement community situated on the banks of the St. John's river in Orange Park, Florida, with over 100 years of experience in senior care. The organization prides itself on staff longevity and community involvement through its Heart of the Community program.
Requirements
- Valid CNA License
- CPR / BLS certificate (online certification not accepted)
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct resident care to residents, while performing all care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments per resident care plan, physician orders and/or directed by charge nurse.
- Take vital signs.
- Weigh residents.
- Assist in obtaining specimens from residents.
- Help in bathing and dressing residents.
- Perform many other care-related responsibilities.
