About The Position

We are seeking an experienced CNA to provide care for a bedridden female client, approximately 200 lbs. (preferably female). The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of CNA experience and prior experience working with dementia clients.

Requirements

Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
Current CNA license
Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
Must have reliable transportation
Must have good oral and written communication skills
Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test

Nice To Haves

3–5 years of CNA experience
Prior experience working with dementia clients

Responsibilities

Total care provided in bed
Assistance with repositioning, sitting at the edge of the bed, and light exercises
Personal Care (bathing, dressing, and transfers)
Laundry and meal preparation
Light housekeeping
Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
Assist with medication reminders
Engage the client in conversation and activities
