Certified Nursing Assistants, or CNAs, provide an exceptional resident care experience that promotes healing and recovery in a compassionate environment. CNAs work collaboratively with skilled clinicians and a team of nurses to provides direct care to residents following an individualized plan of care. CNAs are responsible for assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals, while encouraging the resident to do as much of their own care as they are able.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be a Florida-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.)
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to relate effectively to staff, residents, families, and community members
  • Must be empathetic, energetic and have an affinity for working with a diverse senior population
  • All applicants must complete and pass a Level II Background Check and Drug Screening

Responsibilities

  • assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and getting to and from activities and meals
