About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate caregiver for a male hospice client who is bedridden and requires full assistance with all activities of daily living. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM Please note: hours may be slightly adjusted and will be confirmed.
Requirements
- Will need current CPR and First Aid Certification
- Current CNA license
- Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to understand care plans and assessments
- Must have current doctor's medical health clearance to work, which includes a negative TB Test
Responsibilities
- Total care for a bedridden client
- Checking, cleaning, and changing the client as needed
- Repositioning/rotating every 2 hours
- Keeping the client’s room clean and tidy
- Monitoring intake (client currently has limited appetite)
- Meal preparation
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes
- Assist with medication reminders
- Engage the client in conversation and activities
