About The Position
The James L. West Center for Dementia Care is the preeminent provider of dementia care services in North Texas. It is a single site facility specializing in dementia care with 112 beds across six separate living areas, maintaining a high census. The center is committed to high staffing ratios to ensure the best possible care. Staff work 12-hour shifts to balance work and home life, and employee teams consistently collaborate. The organization is a faith-based, non-profit company, with 70-75% of its revenue spent on employee wages and benefits. Requirements
- Current CNA in Texas or in process of transfer to Texas
- Patience, empathetic, caring for seniors with dementia
- Current and valid CNA certification in the state of Texas
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and health clearance

- Experience in long-term care or dementia care preferred, but not required
