About The Position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the United States, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and direct patient care within healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. Your primary objective is to support patients with their daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and dignity at all times. You will work closely with registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to monitor patient conditions and report any changes promptly. This role demands a strong commitment to patient-centered care, attention to detail, and the ability to respond effectively to the physical and emotional needs of diverse patient populations. Requirements

  • Current and valid CNA certification recognized in the United States.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited CNA training program.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet health screening requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Additional training or certification in specialized care areas such as geriatrics or rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure accurately.
  • Provide mobility support by helping patients move safely, including transferring and repositioning bedridden individuals.
  • Observe and report any changes in patients’ physical or emotional conditions to nursing staff promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
  • Support patients emotionally by offering companionship and responding to their needs with empathy and respect.
  • Assist nursing staff with medical procedures and documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies at all times.
