About The Position

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CNA: 1-1 care in a Skilled Nursing Facility As a DC licensed caregiver (CNA) , you follow the plan of care set up by the Director of Nursing in the facility and collaborate to provide support to residents of the facility by providing medication reminders, assisting with toileting/ incontinent care, assisting with personal care and hygiene, ordering/ assisting residents to meals, light housekeeping and enhancing quality of life by providing companionship. Your eye for detail is essential, this assists you to observe and report any safety hazards found in the resident's home and any changes in the clients mental, physical, or emotional condition. Requirements

  • 18 yrs old and older
  • Valid/Current DC Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Valid Current CPR
  • At least 3 months professional experience as a caregiver preferred
  • Open availability, able to work various shifts to include weekends
  • Willing to work in a Skilled Nursing Facility in NW DC
  • Strong communication skills
  • Applicants are expected to pick up shifts within 7 days of hire
