About The Position

Schedule : 20 hours/week; Monday-Friday 9:30am-1:30pm Under the direction of the PCA Coordinator, assists participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs. Assists participants in their mobility exercises to help them be more independent for their activities and to maintain their current level of functioning. Provides care in a manner that assures participant satisfaction and retention. Assists participants in such activities as walking, transfers, use of mobility devices, getting to and from rest room, toileting, changing diapers and clothing, feeding, showering, getting in and out of transportation vehicles, socialization at the center. Personal Care Assistants work at the Center and assist on the vans. Providence PACE is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly that strives to keep older adults as healthy as possible living in the community through clinics, home visits and more. Requirements

• Washington Nursing Assistant Certification
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Long term care or related geriatric and/or rehabilitative experience.
