About The Position

UNDER NEW MANAGMENT The primary purpose of the Ward Clerk-CNA position is to assist the Charge Nurses in their day-to-day recording and charting of medical and/or administrative information and to assure resident safety. This role also provides each assigned resident with excellent daily nursing care and services to assure resident safety in accordance with the resident’s assessment and plan of care, and as may be directed by your supervisor.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with the laws of this state.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agency personnel, and the general public.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Nice To Haves

• Possess some computer skills and understanding of documentation software program preferred.
