About The Position

Join Our Weekend Care Team! Are you a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) looking for short weekend shifts and meaningful work? Griswold Home Care for Chevy Chase is seeking reliable CNAs to support seniors who prefer consistent, shorter visits in the comfort of their homes. If you enjoy building relationships, providing hands-on care, and making a real difference, this role is for you.

Requirements

• Active Maryland CNA license
• CPR/First Aid preferred
• Driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Minimum 6 months caregiving experience (family care counts)
• Dependable, punctual, and compassionate

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility
• Support clients with dementia or cognitive challenges
• Help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal prep
• Run errands or provide transportation (if applicable)
• Give medication reminders (no administration)
• Document care and clock in/out using our mobile app
• Communicate changes in client condition to the office
