About The Position

Ovation Communities is seeking a CNA who will perform direct resident care, assists with activities of daily living and provides a safe environment for the residents in live in.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA Certification
• Must maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
• Read, write and speak the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works alone giving total care or assists residents with bed bath, tub bath or shower, perineal care
• Dental, hair, nail, shaving, dressing, and undressing, applications of make-up, hearing aids and eyeglasses.
• Elimination needs providing for and changing protective padding, toileting by offering bedpan, urinal or taking to bathroom, Foley catheter cares.
• Ambulating, transferring, positioning by using assistive devices such as walker, wheelchair, Hoyer lift, gait belt or lift sheets.
• Answer all call lights promptly.
• Encourages active participation of residents in meeting their needs by promoting individualized, restorative care, attending activities, council meetings, and family involvement.
