Hiring Now: Full-Time 1st Shift CNA | $1000 Hiring Bonus Pay: Starting at $17hr. based on qualifications, experience and skills | Hours: 7AM - 3:30PM, Must Have Weekend Availability| Location: Southminster (Charlotte, NC) About Southminster & Embrace Health We are an award-winning, non-profit life plan community recognized for excellence and outstanding service. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a state approved nurse aid program AND currently listed on the North Carolina State Registry
- Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents and staff, following oral and written directions.
- Lift up to 50lbs continuously and over 100lbs frequently
Nice To Haves
- Geriatric experience and CDM
- CDM Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides personal hygiene care, including bathing, grooming, shaving, nail and skin care.
- Toilets/assists in bowel and bladder needs, gives bedpans, urinals, assists with toilet/bedside commode use, changes incontinent briefs all with attention to perineal/skin care.
- Help residents dress and eat, assists with meals and feeds residents, monitors feeding to include passing trays, between meal nourishments, supplements, ice water, measuring intake and output, calorie count, determining percentage of meals eaten
- Provides preventative care to include ROM, positioning and repositioning, appropriate application of physical restraints.
- Demonstrates dependability through punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Other duties as assigned
