About The Position
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is offering a PAID CNA Trainee Program! This program is designed to train individuals to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) while providing them with a competitive hourly wage. The program lasts for 4 weeks and is hosted Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM. Perfect attendance is mandatory during the training. After certification, pay increases based on prior experience, ranging from $18.44 to $20.87 per hour. Additionally, a $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered, paid out in increments over the first year of employment as a CNA. Candidates can also work as Unit Helpers before the program starts, earning the same hourly rate of $17.50. The training program is hosted in Geneva, NY, but certified CNAs can work at any of the long-term care facilities located in Geneva, Waterloo, and Penn Yan, NY. Both part-time and full-time employment opportunities are available.
