Job Summary and Responsibilities As a crutial member of the patient care team, the CNA-Telemetry Tech-Nursing Unit Secretary role will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will: Continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel Be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, including troubleshooting equipment problems and communicates needs to leader. Assist the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing and communicating patient, physician and staff needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Six months previous CNA experience, required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Current state CNA license for applicable state of employment
  • Successful Completion of ECG Exam will be required annually
  • Physical Reqirements-Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous telemetry experience, preferred
  • Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred
  • Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preferred
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred
