About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position at Express Healthcare Professionals involves providing essential care to residents at a Hawaii Health Systems Corporation facility. This role is crucial for assisting with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for residents. The position is a 13-week contract with a day shift schedule.

Requirements

• Current State of Hawaii CNA Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of recent CNA experience
• Current CPR/BLS Certification through the American Heart Association
• Current two-step TB/Chest X-Ray clearance - within 1-year
• Annual Physical
• Proof of vaccinations: MMR, Tdap, Varicella, COVID
• FieldPrint Fingerprint

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Aid residents with mobility, including transferring, turning, and positioning.
• Measure and record vital signs like temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Monitor residents' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided and residents' progress.
• Effectively communicate with residents, their families, and the healthcare team.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for residents by following established protocols and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervising nurses or facility management.
