About The Position

Staffing & Central Supply Coordinator (CNA Required) Bear Creek Nursing Center – Hudson, FL Full-Time | Monday–Friday | On-Call Rotation Required At Bear Creek Nursing Center, effective staffing is not just an administrative function; it is a critical driver of resident care quality, staff stability, regulatory compliance, and overall building success . We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Staffing & Central Supply Coordinator to take ownership of nursing schedules and medical supply management. This role is trusted, influential, and essential to the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility. The right candidate understands that how we staff directly impacts how we care . Position Overview This position is evenly split between nursing staffing coordination (50%) and oversight of central supply (50%) . The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with proven experience in SNF staffing, strong operational judgment, and the ability to manage fast-paced priorities with accuracy and confidence. This is a high-visibility, high-accountability role that works closely with nursing leadership and administration.

Requirements

  • Current CNA certification required
  • Demonstrated experience scheduling nursing staff in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
  • Strong understanding of how staffing impacts: Resident care quality, Survey readiness, Overtime control and agency usage, Staff morale and retention
  • Proven ability to manage daily staffing challenges in a high-volume environment
  • Experience managing medical supply inventory and budgeting in a healthcare setting
  • Exceptional organizational skills with close attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with nursing leadership
  • Reliable, accountable, and solutions-focused
  • Comfortable participating in an on-call rotation
  • Professional, team-oriented demeanor

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage daily nursing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage for CNAs, LVNs/LPNs, and RNs
  • Respond effectively to call-offs, absences, and last-minute staffing needs
  • Understand and support minimum staffing requirements and coverage standards
  • Communicate proactively with nursing leadership to support quality outcomes and compliance
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to support staffing needs outside regular business hours
  • Manage medical supply inventory, ordering, and replenishment
  • Monitor usage, budgeting, and cost control
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to ensure supplies support resident care needs
