About The Position

With 2 floors and 165 beds we are able to provide care for long term care residents and post-acute rehab patients. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal orientated, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of State of Michigan approved CNA Training Course.
• CRT-Nursing Assistant - Michigan Department of Licensing & Regulatory Affairs, Bureau of Community and Health Systems within 90 days.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall support services for staff scheduling process.
• Must be able to communicate well with staff.
• Performs the scheduling function as directed.
• Works collaboratively with other personnel in matters related to scheduling coverage aspects of patient care.
• Assists with patient scheduling function as needed.
• Completes all functions of the staff scheduling process (i.e. block schedule, vacation calendar etc.).
• Transcribes scheduling information, staff schedules in a timely manner.
