About The Position

Masonicare at Home is seeking Private Duty Caregivers for per diem/hourly personal and companion care positions available throughout Connecticut. The shifts are available from 9 AM to 12 PM, with options ranging from 3 to 12 hours per day. This role is not only about providing care but also about making a meaningful impact in the lives of clients who need assistance. Masonicare offers training for those willing to learn and will cover the costs for CNA certification.

Nice To Haves

• CNA certification (not required but preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide conversation and general companionship to clients.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Change bed and bath linens.
• Handle laundry duties.
• Prepare meals for clients.
• Run errands as needed.
• Remind clients to take their medications.
• Assist clients with phone calls, appointment scheduling, and mail.
• Engage clients in recreational activities such as reading, games, crafts, and walks.
• Drive or accompany clients to appointments including doctor visits and salon trips.
• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care, and feeding.
• Provide toileting and incontinence care.
• Assist clients with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities.
