About The Position

Rebound is looking for a per diem/relief CNA to join our Surgery Center team. This position functions as a member of the Pre/Post operative team under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, assists in patient care, transport and preparation of patient bays. In the procedural room, CNA's set up, clean, and operate the C-Arm.
Requirements
- Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license required
- Healthcare BLS certification
- 1 year experience in hospital environment required (ER, surgical, PACU, etc.) preferred
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent customer service skills

- 1 year experience in hospital environment required (ER, surgical, PACU, etc.) preferred
Responsibilities
- Assists connecting patient to monitors, takes temperatures
- Transports patients at discharge
- Assists patients to wheel chair and with ambulation
- Assists with cold therapies
- Cleans and prepares patient stretchers with linen draping
- Accurate charting
- Uses Bladder scanner
- Empties sharps containers
- Takes contaminated trash to designated area at end of day
- Directs in coming patients to appropriate bay
