About The Position

As a CNA or Medical Assistant in our ENT Clinics, you’ll work alongside some of the Midwest’s most skilled ear, nose and throat specialists, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of conditions ranging from chronic sinus problems and voice disorders to hearing loss, head and neck tumors, and complex airway issues. You’ll play a hands-on role in patient care, helping facilitate advanced, state-of-the-art procedures. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant Program (for Medical Assistant role).
  • Minimum of 16 years of age (for CNA role).
  • Possesses a Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska (for CNA role).
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire, must be from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).
  • If required to administer medications, current Medication Aid Registry listing or completed within first 30 days of hire or transfer date, and maintained thereafter (for Medical Assistant role).
  • Based on department need, Medication Aide certification and completion of an Injectables course may be required after hire in outpatient settings (for CNA role).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a physician's office.
  • Experience in a related area.
  • Ability to be bilingual in English and Spanish for working in certain clinics.
  • Medical assistant certification.
  • Medical Scribe experience.
  • Knowledge of computer data entry and word processing.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

  • Provide the highest quality of customer service for patients and others by performing all duties in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Provide quality care to patients, under the direction of licensed practitioners (Medical Assistant specific).
  • Promote efficient operation of the clinic (Medical Assistant specific).
  • Provide assistance to physicians and support staff (Medical Assistant specific).
  • Perform delegated patient activities as assigned by licensed nursing personnel for the achievement of patient`s plan of care (CNA specific).
  • Play a hands-on role in patient care, helping facilitate advanced, state-of-the-art procedures.
  • Support individualized care plans that focus on treating the whole person, not just the condition.
