Background Screening Notice This position requires successful completion of Level II background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Screening information is available from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) at: https://info.flclearinghouse.com. Please note: Eligibility under AHCA screening standards does not guarantee employment. Our agency maintains additional screening criteria and reserves the right to determine suitability for employment in accordance with agency policy.

Requirements

  • Valid CNA or HHA certification in the state of Florida.
  • Previous experience in home health care or a related field required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility.
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Background check and references required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Monitor and document clients' health and well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition needs.
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and provide emotional support.
