About The Position

As an CNA you will provide direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. You will assists the healthcare team in coordinating, prioritizing and communicating patient, physician and staff needs. This is a PRN (as needed) CNA role for our inpatient hospice team that offers a PRN shift differential for being a flexible staffer. The role works 12-hour shifts with varied days and nights (weekends and holidays are rotated). Requirements

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Basic computer skills
• High School Diploma or GED
• Graduate of a Nursing Assistant Program
• Current state CNA license for applicable state of employment
• Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

• Six months previous CNA experience, preferred
• Previous nursing unit secretary or medical office experience, preferred
