About The Position

The CNA Nursing Assistant in Oncology provides basic, quality patient-focused care in a clinical setting under the daily direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role adheres to the standards of practice within the guidelines of corresponding state regulations. The CNA performs delegated tasks in the patient care setting, supporting an environment of patient care and ensuring that patients and their families are treated holistically with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED/HSED.
  • CNA - Nurse Aide in good standing with the State Registry.
  • CPR - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 45 days.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to set priorities.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, lifting, squatting, bending, twisting, and reaching above shoulders during the work shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
