We are proud to offer a Nurse Aide Training Program designed to build strong, competent healthcare professionals. We are seeking a passionate and experienced RN Educator to lead and facilitate our Nurse Aide Training Program, on a contract basis, with our community in Herkimer, NY.

Requirements

• Active RN license in New York (Required)
• Active Driver's License
• Minimum two years of nursing experience, with one year in long term care preferred
• Prior teaching, training experience
• Must complete an approved Train the Trainer (TTT) course or possess previous NATP instructor experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction in alignment with state-approved NATP curriculum.
• Teach fundamental nursing principles, resident care procedures, infection control, safety protocols, and communication skills.
• Utilize interactive teaching methods, including hands-on demonstrations, role-playing, and technology-based learning tools.
• Provide individualized instruction and remediation to ensure all trainees meet learning objectives.
