About The Position

CNA - Memory Care Shift: AM and PM Location: Ovation Communities — Kavod Terrace Ovation Communities is seeking a CNA to perform direct resident care, assists with activities of daily living and provide a safe environment for the residents to in live in. Key Responsibilities: Works alone giving total care or assists residents with bed bath, tub bath or shower, perineal care Dental, hair, nail, shaving, dressing, and undressing, applications of make-up, hearing aids and eyeglasses. Elimination needs providing for and changing protective padding, toileting by offering bedpan, urinal or taking to bathroom, Foley catheter cares. Ambulating, transferring, positioning by using assistive devices such as walker, wheelchair, Hoyer lift, gait belt or lift sheets. Answer all call lights promptly. Encourages active participation of residents in meeting their needs by promoting individualized, restorative care, attending activities, council meetings, and family involvement. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CNA Certification
• Must maintain complete confidentiality and discretion.
• Read, write and speak the English language.

Nice To Haves

• Long term care experience preferred.
