About The Position
Description Certified Nursing Assistant – Neurovascular, Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. This posting represents a .9 FTE, NIGHT shift opening (7pm-7:30am, varied days, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with rotating weekends. We are an accredited comprehensive stroke center and epilepsy unit. This specialized unit cares for post-operative neurosurgery and EMU patients. Patients on this unit may have received a hyperacute intervention such as endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) or thrombolysis. Stroke patients generally stay in the hospital for approximately five to seven days. During their stay, the interprofessional stroke team works collaboratively to provide patient and family-centered and evidence-based stroke care. Requirements
- Upon hire: Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
