Birch Creek Assisted LivingSmithfield, UT

About The Position

We are currently hiring CNAs and Med Techs for both part-time and full-time positions at Birch Creek Assisted Living. Birch Creek is a place where people show up for each other. The atmosphere here is built by team members who work hard, stay positive, and make things happen! If you're dependable, kind, and want your work to matter, you'll fit in well here. We offer flexible schedules, shift differentials for NOC and weekend shifts, and the opportunity to become a CNA through our partnership with Utah CNA Training Centers. There are opportunities to grow within the company for reliable, committed employees. Our community is fully supported with housekeeping, dietary, and activities staff, so caregivers can focus on residents. Our leadership team is present and supportive, and we work hard to maintain a positive, respectful environment. Our residents are the best part of the job. The relationships you build here matter. As a caregiver, your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), monitoring their well-being, and reporting any changes or concerns to the Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) and nurse. Additional duties may be assigned by the Administrator or RCC. To be successful in this role, you should be dependable, able to work independently, and work well as part of a team. CNA certification is preferred but not required-we are willing to help the right person get certified. You should be able to manage multiple responsibilities, stay calm under pressure, and communicate clearly and respectfully with residents, families, and coworkers. A genuine interest in working with seniors is essential. Requirements upon hire include a food handler's permit, CPR/First Aid certification, and a TB test. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance; a 401(k); and life insurance. All employees are eligible for paid time off and paid training. If you are under 18, please let us know if you are currently enrolled in a CNA course. Experience is preferred but not required. Pursuant to the State of Utah rules and regulations governing assisted living facilities we are not allowed to hire any person who cannot pass a criminal background check due to past felonies.
