About The Position

We are currently seeking PT/ PRN Medication Aide's to join our team and assist in the newly expanded assisted living and healthcare departments. Previous Medication Aide experience is a plus, as well as experience in an assisted living setting. Under the direct supervision of our LPN's, the Medication Aide: Responsible for ensuring residents receive medications and treatments as indicated on the eMAR. Assist residents with their ADLs as needed. Maintains clinical and professional competency. Current shift opportunities available: 7-3 3-11 11-7

Requirements

• Requires graduation from an approved Medication Technician program in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• License: Medication Aide License (Required)
• Certified Nursing Assistant License (Required)
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Must have good assessment, communication, clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Medication Aide experience
• Experience in an assisted living setting
