About The Position

Job Description: Position: Certified Nursing Assistant – Medication Aide (CNA-M) Location: Gray Birch – Augusta, Maine Schedule: Part-time (32 hours/week) Shift: Days (5:45 a.m. - 2:15 p.m.)

Requirements

  • A valid State of Maine CNA-M certification
  • Certification from an accredited Medication Technician Program (CMT) is required
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • A commitment to teamwork and high-quality resident care

Responsibilities

  • Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice.
  • Report abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
  • Assists patients with meeting their emotional, physical, and spiritual needs.
  • Distributes medications to residents per physician orders and completes required documentation.
  • Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked, clean, and orderly.
