About The Position

The CNA Med Surg position at Logan Health involves providing basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of assigned leadership. The role requires a commitment to patient care, teamwork, and maintaining confidentiality while performing various duties related to patient support and administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Current Montana Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certificate required.
  • Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Previous work experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Home Health Aide certification preferred or must obtain within six months of hire.
  • Understanding of confidentiality laws governing the provider-patient relationship, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Current Driver's License required for the Driver portion of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Delivers and assists in delivery of basic patient care under the guidance and direction of assigned leadership.
  • Communicates with assigned leadership to coordinate workloads and patient priorities.
  • Performs accurate CNA assessments while taking patients' vital signs and informs stakeholders of any abnormal signs or changes in condition.
  • Maintains patient privacy as defined by Logan Health policies and procedures.
  • Assists patients with activities of daily living as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Accurately and timely documents the care rendered to patients as defined by department procedures.
  • Assists in maintaining function by managing inventory, restocking rooms, and maintaining equipment for safety and cleanliness.
  • Assists with maintaining compliance with Medicare and all applicable regulatory standards.
  • Works with stakeholders to set and maintain priorities for patient care tasks.
  • Assists in administrative duties and day-to-day operations per department procedures.
