About The Position
DEFINITION OF POSITION: Provides basic nursing care to patients, under the direct supervision of Registered Nurses and/or Licensed Practical Nurses.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- CNA Certification
- CPR Certification

- Previous CNA experience in acute care.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Recognize the rights and responsibilities of patient confidentiality.
- Convey empathy and compassion to those experiencing grief, pain or trauma.
- Report to other staff members any changes in patient condition.
- Relate to others in a manner that creates a sense of teamwork and cooperation.
- Communicate effectively and therapeutically with people from every socioeconomic background.
- Incorporate guest relations into daily activities.
