About The Position

The CNA/HUC position at St. Luke's Health System is a part-time role focused on providing essential care and support to patients in the Women's Services unit. This role combines the responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and a Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), ensuring effective communication and documentation within the healthcare team. Requirements

  • Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice or Nurse Apprentice letter.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide essential care and support to patients in the Women's Services unit.
  • Take on responsibilities of a Health Unit Coordinator, including documentation and communication with healthcare team members.
  • Share essential information with the healthcare team through documentation and oral communication.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Support nursing staff in delivering patient care.
