About The Position

Tidewell Hospice, a member of Empath Health in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to care for patients. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, from 8a-5p, in the Port Charlotte/North Port Home area. In addition to our recent enhancements to the base compensation package for our FT Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), we are pleased to offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 29 days of paid time off (PTO) per year. This generous PTO allowance provides our CNAs with the flexibility to recharge and attend to personal matters, while also allowing them to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Requirements

• Applicants must have Florida State Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
• Current CPR certification required.
• One year of recent experience in hospice, home health or acute-care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overall care of the patient, from basic personal care like taking vital signs, bathing, and grooming to household tasks that assist the primary caregiver.
• Educating the patient and primary caregiver about personal care, patient positioning and daily living.
