About The Position

KalCare Health Care is seeking a dependable, flexible, and compassionate Full-Time Floater (On-Call) Caregiver to join our growing team. This role is essential to ensuring continuity of care by providing coverage for open shifts and supporting multiple clients as needed. Requirements

• Experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare preferred
• CNA certification
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clients
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and assignments
• Maintain a professional appearance (scrubs required)
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
• Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care
• Uphold client confidentiality and company policies at all times
• Monday–Friday availability during operational care hours | 9am-5p - some weekends required
• Must be available by phone and actively monitor Scheduling system
• Ability to work up to 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Fill open shifts and provide coverage as assigned
• Deliver care to multiple clients (no more than 2 per day)
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, and client support
• Maintain accurate documentation in AxisCare
• Report to assigned clients within 1 hour of notification
• Provide consistent, high-quality care across varying client needs
