About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: The Dialysis Technician/CNA is responsible for the care of patients requiring dialysis treatments. Performs hemodialysis treatments including access through fistulas, grafts, or hemodialysis catheters under the supervison of a RN Dialysis as prescribed by the physician.
Requirements
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Licensure/Certifications: Certified Nursing Assistant in current state
- American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider CPR Certified
- Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification within 18 months as required by CMS
Nice To Haves
- One year clinical dialysis experience
- National Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician certification
