About The Position

The CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) position is a full-time role located in Townsend, MT. Under the general supervision of a licensed Nurse, the CNA assists in the delivery of patient/resident care, working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary care team to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs of the patient/resident and their family. The position requires adherence to Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, and service expectations, as well as maintaining competency in organizational and departmental standards related to safety and job performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months CNA experience in performing patient/resident care in a health care institution, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic's mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations.
• Performs basic nursing care and treatments within scope of practice as directed by the licensed nurse.
• Ensures complete, accurate and timely entry into patient medical records as indicated by patient need and documentation guidelines.
• Adheres to Billings Clinic safety standards, policies and practices.
• Utilizes performance improvement principles to assess and improve the quality of patient/resident care.
• Demonstrates collaborative, supportive, and caring behaviors in communication with patients/residents, families, visitors, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Acts as a resource, role model and mentor, responding to questions and assisting with problem resolution.
• Takes responsibility for identification of own growth and development needs.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department.

Benefits

• $2000 sign-on bonus eligibility.
• Wage range of $17.00 to $21.25 per hour.
