Responsibilities
- Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Take vital signs
- Help with treatments
- Answer call lights
- Change linens
- Keep residents' rooms tidy
- Maintain safe and sanitary conditions
Requirements
- Successfully completed an approved nursing assistant training program
- Current Arizona CNA license required
- Valid CPR Certification with BLS and AED training
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic
- Able to document care given
- Physically capable of lifting/carrying up to 20 lbs frequently
- Able to assist with resident transfers up to 125 lbs
- Able to push up to 150 lbs in shower chairs or wheelchairs
- Passionate about caring for others and always ready with a smile
