About The Position

The Constant Observer CNA offers a unique role in providing a safe healing environment. Responsible for providing direct observation of assigned patients, this position works in collaboration with RN and nursing staff, to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.

Requirements

• Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license (CNA).
• Current BLS certification.
• One (1) year experience in physician's office or other medical facility preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe from patient's rooms and/or Observation Suite and apply alertness and constant attention to the patient.
• Engage critical thinking skills in maintaining a safe, therapeutic and aesthetic environment.
• Collaborate with the team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience, and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff, and other members of the health care team.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
