About The Position
Empath Health, a healthcare organization in beautiful Southwest Florida, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant/Dietary Aide to care for patients. The CNA/Dietary Aide undertakes the vital job of meeting the dietary goals and preferences of terminal patients in the hospice house setting. In collaboration with the Clinical Director, Registered Dietitian and Food Service Coordinator, the aide purchases, stores and prepares attractively presented meals in a sanitary manner, on a timely basis. The role also includes ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and dietary department area and performing clinical/patient care duties as a CNA. Additionally, the aide provides clinical services to meet care needs of patients in the Hospice House as directed by the Registered Nurse.
