About The Position

Under the supervision of the Day Center Supervisor, the Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing and assisting participants of St. Paul’s PACE with activities of daily living, restorative and supportive care. The CNA also assists with the organization and implementation of activity programs, monitors health status, and provides a safe environment for participants. This is a full-time position in our Day Center with typical hours Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant in the State of California (CNA) required
  • A minimum of one year’s of experience in working with the frail or elderly population required
  • Shall have either training or related experience in the job assigned
  • Current CPR (BLS) and First Aid from the American Heart Association is required
