About The Position

United Methodist Communities is currently seeking CNA/Certified Medication Aides for The Shores, our Senior Care Community located in Ocean City, NJ within picturesque Cape May County. The CMA: Certified Medication Aide administers medications to the residents of the Memory Support Residence.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year experience working directly with people who suffer from dementia and/or Alzheimer's Disease (preferred).
• Must be able & willing to complete specific training in the care of the MSR resident.
• Current New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing or CHHA.
• Must possess certification from NJDOHSS approved Medication Administration Course.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents of the Memory Support Residence.
• Provide care and support to residents suffering from dementia and/or Alzheimer's Disease.
