About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Hudsonview Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is responsible for providing routine nursing care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of care is maintained. This role involves working under the direction of nursing staff and participating in various activities to support residents' well-being and comfort.

Requirements

• Must have certification as a certified nursing assistant (CNA).
• Ability to read, write and speak the language.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Prepare residents for therapy, activities, physician visits, and religious services, including transporting residents to/from such activities.
• Answer residents' call lights promptly.
• Attend in-service educational programs, on-the-job training programs, and meetings as directed.
• Assist residents with proper hygiene.
• Bathe residents as assigned and encourage self-help measures/activities.
• Follow infection control procedures when isolation techniques are necessary.
• Chart required information every shift pertaining to the role of the certified nursing assistant (CNA).
• Present a professional image to consumers through dress, behavior, and speech.
• Adhere to Company Standards for resolving consumer concerns.
• Ensure that all consumer/resident rights are protected.
