Come join us at Kahl Home! We are a Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 1955. Our state-of-the-art services, amenities, and excellent staff make Kahl Home a premier nursing facility in the Quad Cities. We are looking for a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA to become a part of our facility’s compassionate care-giving team. Full-time available; 2pm to 10pm. Requirements

Current CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Certification for the State of Iowa.
Current CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

Provide direct Resident care.
Observe and report residents and notes physical condition, attitude, reactions, or any unusual behavior.
Ensure that the call light is always within reach of all residents and answer the calls promptly.
Perform basic nursing skills for Residents.
Encourage residents in self-help measures in activities of daily living to promote maximum level of independence.
Participate in Restorative Nursing programs.
Transport or escort residents to various areas of the Home.
