About The Position
This position is for a Certified Nursing Assistant to assist staff nurses in performing routine nursing duties and tasks related to the health and well-being of clients. The role is within an environment that provides individualized skill training in a caring and home-like setting, adhering to a person-centered philosophy that respects individual capabilities and civil rights, and promotes competence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Current Nevada CNA License
- 6 months of experience at a nursing home, Direct Care Trainer, or Respite Worker
- Valid NV Driver License and to be able to be put on EVCH insurance carrier
- Lift and carry 65 lbs. (pass lifting screening and training)
- Pass Background Check
- Pass Pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Screening
- Communicate and work well with all departments
- Work Independently
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a nursing home setting, following established care plans
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in residents' conditions
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients
- Transport residents as needed
