About The Position

Seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to serve at Essentia Living Center, Essentia Health's long-term care facility in Fosston, Minnesota. This CNA works evening shift, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, 32 hours weekly. Every other weekend and a holiday rotation are required. An evening shift differential and a $1500 sign-on bonus are available. Provides personal hygiene care, assists with providing for nutritional needs; recognizes and deals with the problems of the aging process, recognizes and promptly report changes in resident condition to shift nurse, and maintains a safe, clean, attractive, and neat environment for the residents. Must be aware of and prevent the abuse of vulnerable adults in the care of the Essentia Health skilled nursing facility. Maintains awareness of safety issues and strives to accomplish all responsibilities in a safe manner. Identifies safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective actions. Requirements

Verifiable completion of a recognized nurse aide training program, current registration on the Minnesota state nursing assistant registry, or must obtain certification within 4 months of hire.
