CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
About The Position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNA to join our Skilled Nursing Facility in Williamsville, NY. Our CARF-accredited skilled nursing facility proudly features 50 private rooms and a focus on person-centered care. CNA position details: Our CNA shifts are as follows: days (6am - 2pm), evenings (2pm - 10pm), and nights (10pm - 6am). Please note that we offer a shift differential for the evening shift ($1.50/hour) and for the night shift ($2.00/hour). We are hiring for the following job statuses: Full Time (5 days/week), Regular Part Time (3 days/week), Part Time (2 days/week), and Part Time Every Other Weekend (1 day/week). Please note that a recruitment and retention bonus of $4,000 is available for Full Time positions and a bonus of $2,500 is available for Regular Part Time positions.
Requirements
- Must have proven work experience and a current New York State CNA certification.
- Must be active on the CNA State Nursing Aide Registry with no findings or convictions of resident abuse, mistreatment, or misappropriation of property.
- Must have verbal and written English skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (dressing, bathing, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting).
- Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and wheelchair transport.
- Maintain resident care records and document services provided.
- Report to Charge Nurse on Duty the daily needs, unusual symptoms, and progress of residents.
- Provides a high level of customer service and person-centered care approach.
