We are currently recruiting for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in the following counties [Mecklenburg, Union, and Anson] in BAYADA's Assistive Care Division.

Requirements

  • At least one year of work experience.
  • Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
  • A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
  • Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
  • Ability to travel to clients' homes as assigned.
  • Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
  • Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
  • Assist with range of motion/exercises.
  • Help with ambulation (transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Check vital signs: temperature, pulse, respiration.
