As a CNA at The INN Between, you will be an integral part of an organization that ensures that people who lack housing have a safe place to experience the end of life or recuperate from illness. CNAs play a critical role at The INN Between because providing excellent care to our medically frail clients is the core of our program. We seek CNAs who provide excellent customer service, are skilled, have the highest standards of cleanliness, are med tech trained or able to become trained, and have positive attitudes with a “can-do” spirit. You will report to the Nurse Supervisor and work closely with the housekeeping, facilities, and program services staff as part of a team. CNAs help The INN Between’s residents with their activities of daily living and pass medication (with appropriate delegation). CNAs are responsible for meal service, dining room service, light housekeeping/laundry, resident activities, and supplies organization/inventory. CNAs play a very special role in providing social and emotional support, especially at the end of life, in addition to daily support to maintain a peaceful and pleasant community environment. The ideal candidate will have previous ALF or SNF experience and compassion for/experience working with people experiencing homelessness.
