We are currently hiring for a CNA to reliably serve patients on a per visit basis in Vanceboro.

Requirements

Have at least one year of work experience.
Have successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.

Responsibilities

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services to help adults stay safe and independent at home.
Help clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making etc.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Assist with range of motion/exercises
Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices)
Provide medication reminders
Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
